Job Summary
Administer and document medications including inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical formulations under Charge Nurse supervision. Assist residents with physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs while maintaining certification as a Minnesota CNA and Trained Medication Aide. Work full-time or part-time day shifts with a 12-hour schedule. Eligible employees receive a $10,000 bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
