Job Summary
Administer and document medications including inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, and topical treatments under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs while maintaining required certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Trained Medication Aide. This role operates within a 12-hour day shift at Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, offering a $10,000 bonus for eligible employees and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
