Job Summary
CNA - Full Time Overnight position in Assisted Living. The Nursing Assistant provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance, including activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and assisting with meals. Responsibilities may include obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting with transfers and mobility, administering prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, documenting care outcomes, and supporting wellness and recreational programs. The role requires CNA certification, HS diploma or GED (preferred), ongoing continuing education, adherence to infection prevention/PPE, and collaboration with the charge nurse to ensure safe, high-quality resident care. Benefits eligible for full-time staff; night shifts and rotating schedule may apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred but not required
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- 12 hours continuing education annually
- Competency testing as required by department
- Possibly licensed as Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) in applicable states
- Possibly valid driver’s license and Sanford Driving Policy requirements
