Job Summary
Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a skilled nursing facility. Perform duties including reporting to the charge nurse, carrying out CNA-guided tasks, monitoring residents, assisting with activities of daily living, charting, and following care plans. Maintain CPR certification, adhere to OBRA/Title 22 regulations, communicate changes in resident condition promptly, and collaborate with team members to ensure safe, high-quality resident care. Maintain patient dignity and rights while supporting ongoing education and adherence to facility rules and routines.
Required Qualifications
- Certified by the State of California as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- current CA CNA certification
- ability to follow oral and written instructions in English
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
- good communication in English
- desire to care for elderly/chronically ill
