Job Summary
The CNA/Direct Care Giver delivers quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents, encouraging independence and participation in community activities. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, guiding them to meals and activities, completing documentation, reporting incidents and changes in resident status, and supporting move-in transitions. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, staying calm during emergencies, and working flexible hours including weekends and holidays. CPR/First Aid certification is required or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire. Harmony Senior Services offers a 401k, benefits, training, and a supportive workplace environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire
- Must be able to represent the community in a positive and professional manner
