Job Summary
Provide daily care and physical support to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages. Monitor and record food intake, urinary, and fecal output while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Deliver adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings, and soothing baths as needed. Adhere to infection control protocols, fire safety procedures, and emergency reporting requirements. Work rotating 2nd and 3rd shifts with every other weekend off. Required Qualifications
- Passion for the senior population
- High School diploma or GED
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times
- Must also have excellent oral communication skills when speaking with other health professionals in the presence of residents (i.e. “bedside manner”)
- Can endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and keep a calm, professional demeanor throughout
- Rotating every other weekend will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred
