Job Summary
CNA – full-time night shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) in Gastonia, NC. Responsibilities include providing resident care in the Health Center, supporting daily living activities, assisting with meals, laundry/linens management, rounds, and coordinating with nursing staff. Requires adherence to Federal, State, and local regulations, effective communication with Residents and team, and physical ability to assist with patient mobility (lift up to 40 pounds) and long periods of standing. Must hold a North Carolina CNA certification and a high school diploma/GED; CPR certification and prior elderly-care experience are a plus. The role involves teamwork, professionalism, and alignment with CV CARES core values and mission.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Ability to read and communicate clearly with Residents and staff
- Ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and daily living activities
- Ability to perform essential duties in a long-term care setting
