Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility, including assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, aiding therapy services and meals, preparing rooms for new admissions, charting patient information, communicating with the nursing staff, and supporting patients’ rights and comfort; duties also include responding to call lights, aiding with transportation arrangements when appropriate, and completing Relias training and routine documentation in accordance with state and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant certification (state-specific)
- Active CNA certification
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must pass drug test
