CNA - FT Nights (Heartwood Lodge)

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care facility during night shifts, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, transfers, and safe repositioning. Monitor changes in residents’ health and behavior and report to nursing staff. Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; engage residents in social activities; document care and concerns for medical personnel. Requires current CNA certification (state of Michigan) and ability to lift/move residents safely; strong communication and teamwork skills; prior long-term care experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Michigan or eligibility to practice as a CNA
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required for certification)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift/move residents safely
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience in long-term care facility or similar setting is a plus
