Job Summary
Assist residents with food preparation, cleaning, and transportation while maintaining household order and attending learning circles. Provide physical and social support to promote independent living and engage in daily life activities within assigned households. Coordinate with coworkers, families, and volunteers to create a positive environment while adhering to facility policies and state regulations. Perform essential tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing regularly, ensuring all care aligns with the organization's mission of resident-centered choice and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Ohio, on the registry or eligible for testing
- training in food sanitation
- training in housekeeping procedures
- training in restorative nursing
- training in resident activities
- Free from illegal use of drugs
- Free from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Able to move freely
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Regularly climb/balance
- Regularly stoop/bend
- Regularly push up to 25 lbs
- Regularly stand, sit, walk
- Regularly reach
- Must be able to speak, read & write the English language in an understandable manner
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately
