Job Summary
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) needed at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding), taking and recording vital signs, aiding mobility, transfers, and repositioning, observing changes and reporting to the licensed nurse, documenting care, supporting meals and hydration, providing emotional support, maintaining clean and safe rooms and infection control, and assisting nursing staff with other duties. Requires active CNA certification in the state. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; weekend shifts likely. Strong communication and teamwork skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
