Job Summary

Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance of assigned leadership, including performing accurate CNA assessments and taking vital signs. Communicates with leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities, informing stakeholders of any abnormal findings or condition changes per protocol. Assists patients with activities of daily living while maintaining patient privacy and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment. Documents care rendered accurately and timely, maintains inventory, restocks rooms, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness. Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations to maintain compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards. Requires current Montana Certified Nurse Aide certificate, RQI Provider (BLS) certification within seven days, and a valid driver's license with a clean record for the driver portion. Schedule is variable PRN coverage supporting Logan Health's 24/7 mission of quality, compassionate care for all.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first
  • Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines
  • Current Driver's License
  • Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.)
  • State law minimum liability coverage limits for personal vehicles used for LH business
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed
