Provide basic nursing care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and elimination needs while assisting with patient transport and activities. Perform assigned data collection for vital signs, weights, intake and output, and glucose readings, reporting irregularities to nursing personnel. Participate in care plan implementation by distributing meals and collecting specimens, and assist with procedures and examinations. Operate equipment safely such as scales, lifts, and telemetry devices, reporting malfunctions appropriately. Maintain certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant issued by the state of North Dakota and complete Basic Life Support training within 30 days of start date.
