Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal and companion care to elderly clients in Hyattsville, MD, following established care plans. Duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene; monitoring changes in clients’ health or behavior and notifying appropriate personnel; documenting care activities by clocking in/out; adhering to company policies; and participating in training and development. Requires at least one year of caregiving experience and CNA/CMT certification (license or certification). Required Qualifications
- Caregivers with at least one (1) year of caregiving experience
- Caregivers with no attendance issues
- Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care (assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene)
- Reads client care plans and assessments to provide quality care
- Adheres to company policies (dress code, time off, call-out)
- Clocks in and out on appropriate systems
- Observes clients, recognizes changes in behavior/health, notifies Nest & Care as necessary
