Job Summary
Follow the plan of care to assist clients with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming in an in-home setting. Document care provided by recording vital signs, temperature, medication intake, food consumption, and bowel movements. Safely lift, move, transfer, and position clients using proper equipment while reporting any patient changes to the RN and Care Coordinator. Accompany residents on appointments and act as their advocate with providers, interacting with families and visitors in a warm, caring manner. Work under direct RN supervision with a 30-minute travel radius from home.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA/GNA and or CMT certificates
- HS Diploma or GED
- Active and unencumbered CNA/GNA/CMT licensure in MD/ Compact States
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Normal, correctable vision and hearing
- Ability to accurately discern color as necessary to perform job functions
- Travel within 30 minutes of home
