Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming in an in-home setting. Complete documentation for each visit by taking vital signs, recording medication and food intake, and noting bowel movements. Follow the plan of care as maintained by the RN, report all patient changes, and safely lift, move, and position clients. Accompany residents on appointments to act as an advocate while interacting with families and providers in a warm, caring manner. Travel within 30 minutes of home under direct RN supervision. Maintain CPR/BCLS certification and adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols including temperature screenings and sanitization procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA/GNA and/or CMT certificates
- HS Diploma or GED
- Active and unencumbered CNA/GNA/CMT licensure in MD/Compact States
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Normal, correctable vision and hearing
- Ability to accurately discern color
- Part-time or Full-time availability
