Job Summary
Provide personal care, therapeutic programming, and emotional support for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and mobility assistance. Monitor health status changes and report to the RN, administer medications per state regulations, and maintain accurate documentation of services and incidents in the computer tracking system. Engage residents in meaningful interactions, facilitate group and individual cognitive stimulation activities, and assist with laundry, bedtime routines, and meal escorting. Answer emergency calls promptly and promote the community's mission while representing LCB Senior Living to potential residents and families. Full-time associates work 29-40 hours with day-one benefits including health, vision, dental, 401k, and paid time off; part-time roles offer 24-29 hours with holiday pay and tuition reimbursement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use computer for documenting services provided
- Fluency in the English language, both oral and written
- Completion of the course for certified nursing assistant or equivalent training or experience as required by State Regulation
- CPR and First Aid training as mandated by the State
- Current license/certification as required by State Regulation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience providing direct care or the equivalent in training
- Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia
