Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including personal care like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Prepare meals, assist with light housekeeping, and support mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers. Provide medication reminders, take and document vital signs, and report changes in client condition to nursing staff. Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement of independence while following care plans and completing documentation. This live-in role offers consistent 24-hour care in a home-based setting with competitive daily pay plus a food allowance. Candidates must possess active PA CNA or CHHA certification, pass background checks, and have reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Active PA CNA or CHHA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to bend, stoop, and assist with mobility
- Ability to lift/transfer up to 200 lbs with assistance
- Ability to carry up to 10 lbs
- Must complete a criminal background check and other checks required by law
- Live-in client home environment (24-hour care)
