Job Summary

Delivers basic patient care under RN/LPN direction, performing accurate CNA assessments and monitoring vital signs to report abnormal changes. Coordinates workloads and patient priorities with nursing staff while assisting with activities of daily living such as ambulation, transferring, and grooming. Maintains patient privacy, documents care rendered per Logan Health policy, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness in patient rooms. Supports unit function by restocking supplies and assisting with Medicare and regulatory compliance. Works with nursing teams to set and maintain care task priorities while upholding organizational customer service standards.

Required Qualifications

  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first
  • Must employ tact, diplomacy and compassion with all types of people
  • Must use good judgment, apply a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines
