Job Summary
Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance of assigned leadership. Performs accurate CNA assessments, taking vital signs and informing stakeholders of any abnormal findings or changes in patient condition. Assists patients with activities of daily living while maintaining patient privacy per Logan Health policies. Documents care rendered accurately and timely, maintains inventory, restocks rooms, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness. Works with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks and assists in administrative duties. Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment while maintaining compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards. Requires current Montana Certified Nurse Aide certificate, RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire, and a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Shift is variable; Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first
- Current Driver's License
- Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.)
- State law minimum liability coverage limits for personal vehicles used for LH business
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting
- Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines
