Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Prepare rooms for new admissions, greet families, and follow new admit protocols. Communicate with nursing staff verbally and in writing, assist with ADLs, and take vitals according to protocol. Carry out restorative programs, answer call lights promptly, and ensure residents follow dietary allowances. Administer services within scope, arrange transportation, and maintain Relias training. Perform charting duties to accurately reflect care provided and resident responses. Report problem areas to the Nurse Supervisor and take direction from charge staff. Maintain an active, unencumbered CNA certification and CPR BLS license.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant certification for the State of Colorado
- current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a C.N.A in the applicable state
- CPR BLS License
