Job Summary
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to residents in long-term care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, recording vital signs, basic health care tasks, meals and hydration support, personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), and participation in wellness activities. Maintains infection prevention and PPE usage, documents resident interactions, and supports the care team as needed. Requires CNA certification and ongoing competency requirements; weekend, part-time schedule with potential sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process of certification
- maintains competency testing and continuing education credits
- valid driver’s license if required by facility
- background check and drug screen
