Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to residents in long-term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, transfers, range of motion, and documenting resident interactions; supporting food preparation and dining; helping with housekeeping and laundry; participating in wellness and recreational programs; adhering to infection prevention, PPE use, and care plans. Must be able to communicate changes in residents’ condition to the charge nurse; may participate in committees as needed. Role may require driving per facility policy. Evening, part-time schedule with potential shift differentials and sign-on incentives may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
