Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to residents in long-term care during Evening shifts. Responsibilities include bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting with transfers and mobility, range of motion and passive exercises, helping with meals, providing psychosocial support, and documenting resident interactions. Requires CNA certification with the state, completion of required continuing education, adherence to infection prevention and PPE policies, and collaboration with RN and the nursing team. Part-time, evenings, 24 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
