Job Summary
Assist with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse while having full access to patient health information. May access medication storage areas excluding controlled substances as related to job responsibilities. Maintain full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods, and be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Requires current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, full-time 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing
- Full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
