Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to residents in long-term care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include assisting with basic health care needs (bathing, toileting, grooming, transferring, vital signs, range of motion), documentation of resident interactions and outcomes, supporting meals and dining, infection prevention practices, PPE use, and participation in wellness and recreational programs. Requires 3 months (6 months preferred) experience in long-term care, high school diploma or GED (preferred), and CNA certification within four months of hire; duties may include driving to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius and potential assignment as a Sanford Category II Driver where applicable. Mileage reimbursement provided for required travel; additional pay differentials for weekend and evening/night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
