Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility transfers. Monitor vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and provide emotional support and companionship. Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment while documenting patient information accurately. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care for patients, including those with developmental disabilities. Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with patients, families, and professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an approved training program
- CNA/SRNA/GNA License
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and working with people with developmental disabilities
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
