Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and vital signs monitoring, under RN supervision. Assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking while delivering psychosocial support. Complete food preparation, collect non-invasive specimens, and document resident interactions and care outcomes. Maintain infection prevention protocols and participate in wellness and recreational programs. Full-time day shift with 36 weekly hours and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available. CNA certification required within four months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
- Maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
- A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually
- Maintains all department specific required certifications
- Certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry (when applicable)
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
