Job Summary
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant needed to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. Duties include assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, recording vital signs, helping with mobility and transfers, supporting psychosocial well-being, maintaining infection control/PPE protocols, documenting resident interactions, and supporting wellness and recreational programs. Requires CNA certification and ongoing compliance with competency tests and state requirements; shifts are day, full-time, with potential for on-site orientation and benefit eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
- CNA training and certification provided by the facility
- High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 16
- Satisfactory completion of yearly competency testing and continuing education requirements
- Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required per facility needs
