Job Summary
CNAs provide end-of-life care with dignity and compassion as integral members of the interdisciplinary team. They respond to urgent physical or psychosocial needs, sit with patients during active dying, and support families. The role requires completing state nurse’s aide certification, maintaining current Hospice/Home Health experience, and using clinical software/EMR systems. Schedule includes overnight shifts (Wed–Fri, 8:00 PM–8:30 AM) serving patients within a 50-mile radius of Plymouth Meeting, PA, with opportunities for growth into additional roles within the organization. The position is based in Philadelphia/Plymouth Meeting, PA, with in-person care delivery within the defined service area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active registered nurse aide certification in state (unrestricted)
- 3 to 6 months of current experience as Hospice Aide or Nurse’s Aide
- Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and interdisciplinary caregivers
- Ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical records
- Personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance, with ability to operate vehicle independently
