Job Summary
CNA Certified Nursing Assistant for Battlefield Park Healthcare Center in Petersburg, VA. Full-time and part-time 8-hour shifts available (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am) with shift and weekend differentials. Responsibilities include participating in resident reports at shift start/end, delivering personal/nursing care per the resident care plan, facilitating activities, responding to resident needs respectfully, maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with activities outside the center, ensuring proper documentation of activities of daily living and restorative programs, adhering to policies and safety standards, attending required training, and performing related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or be eligible to enter such a program and graduate and pass a state test within 120 days from date of employment
- Knowledge of resident care procedures and standards
- Ability to make independent decisions and interact with staff, residents, families, and the public
- Willingness to participate in training and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance care quality
