Job Summary
Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, vital signs monitoring, and assisting with height and weight measurements. Execute patient plans of care by feeding, preparing meals, changing linens, managing light housekeeping, transporting clients to appointments, and facilitating outdoor activities and shopping. Maintain a valid state certification, completed nursing assistant program, and current CPR training while possessing a reliable driver's license and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work flexible shifts in-home or at facilities across over 300 locations, with opportunities for weekend and evening coverage.
Required Qualifications
- A current, valid state certification and in good standing
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
- Certified CPR
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
