Job Summary
Assist residents with daily care needs including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support. Manage medications according to rules and regulations while engaging residents through conversation and activities. Work hand in hand with the nursing team to ensure care needs are met and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Help with cooking and cleaning the residence as needed. Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs. A current CNA license is required, with experience in senior care preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA License
- In good physical and emotional health
- Free of communicable diseases
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 20-25 lbs (or more with help)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and passion in working with seniors
- Any prior training/certifications in working with seniors/disabled citizens and MAP
- Home Care or Assisted Living or Nursing Home - experience
