Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and ensure dignity and respect in a homelike environment. Create a comforting atmosphere while collaborating with nursing and facility teams to deliver coordinated care. Demonstrate physical stamina for lifting and mobility assistance, applying Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence values daily. This role supports geriatric nursing excellence at Hickory Creek at Huntington, offering preceptorship, mentorship, and tuition reimbursement through partnerships with Ivy Tech and Purdue Global.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
