Job Summary
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and ambulation while performing housekeeping duties and preparing meals. Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations, reporting any unusual events to the administrator, and complete all tasks within the Client Service Plan. Maintain a valid CNA license, one year of caregiver experience, and a reliable driver's license to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Required Qualifications
- Current state license in good standing as an CNA
- 1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a Rhode Island's National background check
- State-required Flu Shot (annually thereafter)
- State-required Hepatitis B Shot
- State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID)
- State-required Birth Certification upload
- Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Adequate physical endurance
