Job Summary
CNA - Acute Care for the Elderly at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. Full-time, weekday night shift (2300-0730) with every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation; documents vitals, I&O, daily weights in EMR; performs bedside tasks, specimen collection, and various nursing-area duties; maintains infection-prevention practices and compliance with safety procedures. Requires BLS within 45 days and state Nurse Aide registration; GED/HSED/HS diploma. 36 hours per week with 8-hour shifts; benefits and comprehensive hospital employment offers accompany the role.
Required Qualifications
- Education: GED or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) or High School Graduate
- Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by AHA within 45 days; Nurse Aide in good standing per State Registry
