Job Summary
Provide basic nursing care and monitor patient vitals in a nursing home setting under registered nurse supervision. Groom and bathe patients with low mobility, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and assist with eating and medication administration. Transfer patients between wheelchairs and beds, adjust positioning to prevent bedsores, and collect laboratory samples. Educate patients and families on health conditions while reporting behavioral changes and concerns to medical staff. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals. Ensure proper medication dosages and regular meals for all assigned patients.
Required Qualifications
- A valid CNA license in the state of employment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
