Job Summary
Provide health care to patients in a Nursing Home setting under registered nurse supervision. Groom and bathe patients with low mobility, prepare rooms with necessary items, and assist with eating and medication administration. Monitor vitals and behavior, report changes to staff, transfer patients between wheelchairs and beds, and adjust positions to prevent bedsores. Collect laboratory samples, educate patients and families on health conditions, communicate with healthcare professionals, and maintain patient records with confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- A valid CNA license in the state of employment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
