Job Summary
Design, create, and facilitate 6-7 high-quality recreational and educational programs daily for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods. Survey and interview residents to complete profiles, determine interests, and assess satisfaction with community activities. Coordinate with the program team to plan monthly calendars, events, and outings, while organizing supplies and staging programming areas. Document all records, attend resident council meetings, and recruit and oversee the volunteer program. Arrange equipment for group and one-on-one activities, prepare daily notices, and assist with resident transportation to appointments, shopping, and off-site outings. Maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good physical condition
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, consistent, imaginative, engaging and have a passion for working with seniors
- Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities
