CNA/Caregiver (Full-time)

Job Summary
Conduct quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living to encourage independence and community participation. Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, cleaning apartments, and managing dining room areas. Respond promptly to resident calls or emergency alerts, maintaining calm competence during incidents. Report care concerns, illness status, and interventions to appropriate staff, HCC, RN/LPN, or ED, documenting all actions in the Daily Log and clinical records. Assist residents with meal times, activity programs, and move-in transitions, communicating resident status and upcoming information verbally and in writing.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing
- Ability to be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel
- Ability to be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor
- Ability to be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs
- Ability to safely lift and transfer residents while maintaining proper body mechanics
- Ability to be in designated uniform during working hours, to include name badge and a smile
- Ability to represent the community in a positive and professional manner
- Willingness to attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire
