Job Summary
Provide personal care services in accordance with the client's individualized plan of care, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Plan and prepare nutritious meals, assist with grocery shopping, and perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment. Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse, complete visit documentation accurately, and follow agency policies and infection control standards. Work approximately 20 hours per week at $15.00-$16.00 per hour in Bel Air, MD. Candidates must hold an active CNA certification and CPR training.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing
- Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, infection control, and vital sign monitoring
- Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, ambulation, and transfers
- Must be able to maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards
- Must pass all required background screenings
- Must be physically able to perform job duties and provide appropriate health documentation as required
- Active CNA, GNA, and/or CMT Certification
- Government-issued Photo ID
- Physical Examination
- PPD/TB Test or Chest X-Ray
- Documentation verifying eligibility to work in the United States
- Driver's Llicense
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Rehabilitation, or Home Health experience is a plus
