Job Summary
Conduct routine daily nursing care and personal assistance for residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care. Assist with daily routines, housekeeping tasks, meal service, and activity participation while ensuring call lights are answered promptly and rooms are surveyed for safety. Report observations, review care plans to identify changes, and contribute to standards of care and staff educational needs. Maintain confidentiality and perform CPR, first aid, and personal hygiene training as required. Work the 11pm-7am shift in compliance with facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Must be able to read, speak and write the English language
- Must be certified in C.P.R.
- Must be certified in first aid training
- Must have documentation of Personal Hygiene training with nurse instructor
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience
- Completion of certification program for Nursing Assistants
- Experience working with the elderly
