Job Summary
Provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in our skilled nursing facility under the direction of a licensed nurse. Assist in ensuring resident well-being by planning, developing, organizing, implementing, assessing, and evaluating care to maintain quality and regulatory compliance. Manage the daily clinical regimen of residents and sub-acute patients as part of our interdisciplinary team. Join a 90-bed skilled nursing facility offering comprehensive orthopedic, cardiac, and post-surgical rehab programs including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Seventeen (17) years of age required
- Employment Certificate/Permit required for 17 years of age
- Registration in the State Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) is required
- Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property
- Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Caring and respectful attitude towards residents
- Physical stamina for constant activity required
- Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Training and work experience in a geriatric setting preferred
