CNA- Cardiology Nights

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists Physicians and nursing personnel in providing patient care in the Cardiology unit. Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance of the Licensed Nurse. Performs specimens collection, runs lab tests, and conducts EKGs, drug screens, and Breath Alcohols. Performs clerical duties as assigned and supports unit activities to promote quality patient care outcomes. Demonstrates documentation accuracy, uses appropriate terminology, ensures patient confidentiality, and maintains equipment. Applies care plans, monitors patient responses, and adapts communication to patient needs while upholding core values and professional standards.
