Job Summary
CNA assists RN with daily patient care in Cardiac Neuro unit (Part-time 24 hours/week, 0.6 FTE, every other weekend and holiday). Responsibilities include bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders, ambulation with assistive devices, vital sign collection (BP, TPR), I&O, daily weights, EMR documentation, purposeful RN-guided rounding, patient transfers, specimen collection, supply management, and maintaining equipment and room readiness. Requires adherence to infection prevention, proper attire, and the ability to lift and position patients; must meet age-specific care needs and participate in admission/transfer/discharge tasks under RN supervision. Licensure/Certification: BLS and Nurse Aide registration in good standing; Education: GED/HSED or high school diploma. Benefits and compensation reflect hospital policies and the posted pay range.”,
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days
- Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices
- Education Required: GED or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or High School Graduate
