Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, provide support in emergency situations, and help lift and transfer residents safely using appropriate techniques. Maintain a clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and document information accurately while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care in long-term, sub-acute, and memory care settings, including hospice care for terminally ill patients. Required Qualifications
- Must be Certified by the State
- Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices
- Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings
- Proficient in lifting techniques to ensure the safety of both patients and staff
- Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality
