Job Summary
Certified Nurse Aide needed to assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity in a post-acute long-term care setting. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, nail care, transfers, responding to call lights, and maintaining resident safety; utilize electronic medical records (PointClickCare) and follow the charge nurse’s schedule. Requires Texas Nurse Aide certification, good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry, English communication skills, and ability to understand and execute instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
- Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
- Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
