Job Summary
Certified Nurse Aide needed to assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity in a post-acute/long-term care setting. Responsibilities include bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, lifting/moving residents, responding to call lights, and providing safe, supportive care while adhering to resident assignment schedules. Utilize electronic medical records (PointClickCare) for charting. Requires Texas CNA certification and good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry; English communication and clear hearing are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
- In good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in Texas
- In good standing on the Misconduct Registry
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
