Job Summary
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity in a post-acute, long-term care setting. Requires a Texas Nurse Aide certification and good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, safety, lifting/moving residents, responding to call lights, and documenting in point-click-care EMR. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
- Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
- Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents
