CNA - Assisted Living (Full Time 37.5 hours) Days

Job Summary
Provide assigned residents with quality daily nursing care and assist with activities of daily living, including medication reminders and meal preparation. Maintain resident areas, support recreational activities, and respond promptly to needs while observing for condition changes and reporting them to the licensed nurse. Document care accurately, participate in care plan reviews and team meetings, and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers and families. Adhere to Mozaic Senior Life policies, ensure confidentiality, and complete required clinical competencies and training. Work full-time 37.5 hours from 7am-3pm M-F with every other weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months - 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, home care or similar health care setting
- State of CT Certification - CNA
- Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times hostile residents within the Community
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively
- Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines
- Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- Must successfully complete Community required Medication Training and other specified Training
- Ability to utilize various software packages to carryout position responsibilities
